There is no other place in the West Village like Sushi Mambo to capture a brief moment of that peculiar New-York atmosphere.

1900 Berlin
Located in the Bohemian neighborhood Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin, 1900 Restaurant seems to be delightfully stuck back in time; at a time when it was possible to take a break right in the middle of the day.
Thereafter, the menu brings back some bits of the 21st century. The traditional recipes are cooked with a twist of modernity in it — in a nutshell the restaurant takes the best from every era to make one feel slightly dazed and exquisitely pleased.

Decorated by Jacques Garcia, La Reserve Geneva is one place you should not miss.
A touch of Ethnicity outside the city with delicatessen multi cultural food.
In the summer, have a roast chicken by the pool or search for the cabana hidden in the trees.

Installed in an old pork-butchery, Anahi is an Argentinian and South American restaurant.
For all the meat amateurs, it offers tasty Solomillo and Churrasco.
Go there for Guacamole, Argentinian meat, but don’t forget to start your dinner with a Margarita .
You can’t miss the hostess…

Forget everything you’ve heard about Ladurée: Pierre Hermé is definitely the real Parisian experience for Macarons. If Marie Antoinette was still alive today, she would no doubt order her pastries there.
No one wants to eat those fade chocolate and fruits recipes any longer: that’s what Pierre Herme understood better than anyone else, hence the wide selection of flavors available; from strawberry-balsamic vinegar to olive oil and vanilla, cinnamon-cherry and of course the finest Venezuelan chocolate for the chocolate addicts, you don’t go in his boutique to be disappointed. Each macaroon is popping in your mouth as a gift box revealing its real capacity further than the visual delight.
But the success is completed thanks to a clever marketing strategy: the chef teamed up with New York based illustrator Jean Philippe Delhomme to create some retail boxes.
Pierre Herme now has six boutiques in Tokyo and opened a corner in Selfridges, London. No need to hurry to Paris anymore to enjoy the real Parisian pastry.

Kai is the ultimate in every single meaning of the word Japanese experience in Paris. Located in a building under a famous detective’s office near the Louvre, the restaurant in itself is a small Asian bubble separated from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Don’t expect to be warmly welcomed, the surroundings are colder than the coldest winter day you could think of.
However once the wicker baskets containing the main courses are served, the Asian experience feels complete: the sashimi of raw fishes are fresher than if the chef went fishing it the same morning in the bay of Tokyo, and the Tempura vegetables feel so light and airy you could almost mistake it with crunchy candies.
If you are not sensitive to being icily received, the food will take you far up in the air, otherwise you’ll have the very unpleasant feeling of being a bit sickened by the tasty meal served in a very oppressive atmosphere…
